Based in the north of France. The choreographer and contemporary dancer, Yutaka Nakata draws his inspiration from his origins and several cultures, an atmosphere where orient and Occident blends together.
His choreographic approach combines mainly by contemporary dance, martial arts essences and sports experiences, where tradition and modernity meet.
Source of his inspiration comes from a simple question in quotidian life and natural law, Philosophy, and the key for creations process asks an instinct sense, “ Improvisation”...
To the question « When did you start improvisation? », my answer is « since birth, since ever ».
